The Rolling Girls #06 — Montage!

February 14th, 2015

Speaking of spinning its wheels…

Impressions:

No less a mess than last week’s episode, making this arc at least consistent in its scattered, unfocused slapshod state of affairs. No, the five minute insert song (five goddamned minutes) and constant cutaways from the already dull motorcycle race to even duller chiseling away at architecture didn’t help. I still have no idea why the Romeo and Juliet/rival ‘gangs’ thing was even there since it served no purpose, but I guess that’s what you get when your big heartwarming overcoming adversity moment is a montage of maybe an hour or two of doing some work, if even that long. It just makes me think that if an entire city’s work these things can be made, delivered, installed, and have confetti shot from cannons at it in the time it takes to run a race and still be done long before dinner, then gee, that sure was a lot of hubub last week about bloody well nothing. God help them if they spill some kool-aid on a white couch because that’d be an entire month of sulking about.

And once again, the protagonist team exists basically only to be background characters in montages. Go team.

Okay, i could feel your Love you put in this Episode. You should take now better care of the “reason line” from now on. Keep the plausibility up Mina-san even is the world around is fantasy and over ironic. At last, hold true to yourself Goal that you want us to show

The hearthstone still keep falling from the Sky as a mystery and not handwork from a clumpsy piece of Stone… i overlook it. gambare mina-san

Yes, i have the same thought as you. our MC are a bit in the background, but as long they give us the feeling they can guide the things in the shadows, then i am okay. As long they have a purpose

Why did Nr 74 accept the race duel?

because he wanted to be the Bridge of the New and the Old Generation.

he use himself to seduce the New biker racer to participate, and the seduce the new artisan girl to create the new figures…

This Nr 74 Men, bet on many lines, and won all of them

  • The Phantom says:

I rather watch AldNoah Zero than this, at least it put two interesting fights this week.

I was so busy waiting for subs for Milky Holmes I forgot all about this show on Saturday, and damned if I don’t feel like continuing to forget about it.
