I finally managed to get my greasy palms on the updated demo, but I really have little to say except to express a bit of relief that they actually are updating the spritework and boss stuff. There are only three stages plus the prologue in the trial, and unlike the C75 demo, they’re all completely brand new with only some reused enemies instead of wholesale copying from the original RKS. Freudenstachel does seem significantly more difficult than the original RKS, but that could just be because all three of the stages were covered in spikes, lava, and bottomless pits with wind blowing you around for instant death. Then again… god only knows what they’ll do with the squid stage this time.
And yes, that is my poor laptop physically having a seizure as it tries to run RKS and record at the same time. Poor little laptop.

See if you can count the number of Negima! posters in the background of this episode.

As far as the games from this one went, I’m pretty disappointed. The two new Touhou editions were really just about the only things that I found noteworthy enough to even mention. I still haven’t been able to try Alternative Sphere yet, but nothing else has so much as held my attention for more than three or four minutes. Maybe a couple years ago was just the renaissance for doujin games. I miss the times when stuff like Crescent Pale Mist, Guardian Heroines, Blood Over, Battle Moon Wars, etc etc was coming out ever single Comiket. Oh well, maybe in the winter.
At least there’s always the parking lot to marvel over. The Vita-Mobile is particularly frightening. How can anybody even drive that? The powder blue Rei-van covered in pink hearts is in a class all to itself. Shamelessly stolen from Senakablog (NSFW) like always.

No, Misa, I don’t think the airplane toilet holds the answers this time.
