Frontier Aja’s put up the supposedly final version of BBR’s trial, which unfortunately adds Ren instead of Kinako, as well as the full voicing, music, etc, although it’s weird to hear Erika voiced by someone other than Shizuka Itou. The main tweaks to note introduced at this stage is a semi-return of the enhance system doing double-duty with the super button. Rouga’s got limited recharging cancels, Kunagi can charge her super bar, and Senna can recover her life. Ren and Erika seem to have gotten the shaft here, although Erika does have the silliest infinite combo ever with her new command throw. Ren in general seems to have taken a huge nerf but I never really played him anyway. His old chained shoulder-charge into Super grab does pitiful damage and even completely whiffs against Erika. Also, I included trains because that game only gets more hilarious when its creators mistransliterate its title as "Barning Stage."

Apparently it has gotten so bad that they now need to censor the sound too. I have to admit that this isn’t as much fun as… say… Rio was though. The show needs to step it back up to the ‘hypnotic’ whip-breast level. This is just… plainly disturbing. The only thing here I could think of anyway was a certain scene from Everything You Always Wanted To Know About Sex*. Coincidentally, that scene also ended with a giant breast roaming the landscape. Perhaps we are not so different from Japan after all. Or just Woody Allen isn’t…

Some years back, Taito thought to themselves, "You know what Japanese arcade goers want to do…? DRIVE A TRAIN! Brilliant!" Thus they set up an arcade cabinet to resemble a train… uh… cockpit? And Densha de Go! was born. Then there was a doujin comic mixing Densha de Go! with Initial D, which has now apparently inspired an actual doujin game. About racing trains. With multi-track drifting. And then they decided to make a sequel. And here we are. The world is a strange, strange place. Well, it could be stranger, as their April 1st train RPG shows.
