Isn’t that one of Sailor Moon’s attacks?
Impressions:
Wow, we’ve got a surprise late entry for most godawful writing of this season, or maybe it was just feeling left out. I’m pretty sure I didn’t even follow the whole UFO/alien-‘octopuses’-turning-into-people/extreme-double-super-moon nonsense either, but in my defense, I wasn’t paying much attention. But also because it was woven into the tapestry that we call the plot in about the same way as one weaves mud into a napkin by hurling it from a catapult.
And of course, it was all but completely unrelated to most of the second half, which was the usual bits of girls getting into argument with their parental figures, or being sad because this meal reminded them of the meal that they had with their friends before, but there’s nothing interesting at all about hanging out with not-Momotaro riding around on an ostrich with a chihuahua and a sloth, or not-Princess Kaguya, the bamboo staff warrior woman who somehow found the missing pieces of the budget. Way to go, as usual, protagonists, being the worst parts of the episode. You’re actually using them at this point to make the few characters that don’t suck suck.

Ah, so it’s turned into the dumb part of Cross Ange…only better because no rape.
I like to repeat myself about that…
