Impressions:

This began by our protagonist meeting with a new character, his sister, prompting me to once again make a noise kind of like "Uraaaaggghhhhhh", and followed that quickly up with 75% of the screen covered in Christmas tits for the sponsor message, turning that into "Urrrrrrrnnnnngggghhhhhhh…" In other words, it was not an auspicious start. Or an auspicious continuation as his sister sat there in her fetish bondage not-straitjacket and breathlessly moaned "onii-chan" with every third word and the animators didn't feel like doing anything with their dead, unmoving stares. Apparently, she has to be tied up because she gets spontaneously horny. Yeah, I've watched LN adaptations before, and you just had an entire episode about the entire cast doing the same thing. This isn't my first time at the rodeo. The other half of the first half of the episode once again might as well have been an entirely different episode for how related it was to the previous. They do a couple throwaway jobs, showing both a flagrant disregard for public safety and that apparently the world is literally crawling with criminals.

And if you're wondering where any mention of the second half of the episode is, so am I. Pretty much as soon as the very subtly named Kiseki wandered into the B plot to bring them together, the already fairly dull episode came to a complete stop. They fussed over her, fussed over each other fussing over her, played dress up, and sat around waiting for something to happen. I was originally thinking that the episode would've probably been improved if they had skipped all the super subtle introductory crap and just began with her wandering up and gibbing some random criminals. That way would've at least left some mystery to her. After seeing them spin their wheels for ten straight minutes though, I wonder if maybe they should've stretched out the obvious filler parts and ended with the gibbing instead.
