Lasers! Explosions! Loud noises!
Impressions:
I really really hope he’s actually dead. It would make next week’s apparently finale of “They kung fu fight for no reason,” so very, very moronically appropriate. I somewhat doubt that’s the sentiment they were going for, but after another episode of asspull power up after asspull power up and that’s when they weren’t just sure whether the lasers were capable of nuking the landscape or simply being slapped aside, and flashbacks of dead people blathering on, I’ve run out of anything for this show but inertia. Christ, he turns goddamned gold and grew wings because he released the darkness inside him. I think the crowning bit of stupidity may have been nearly the entire set of antagonists suddenly switching sides because they can’t stand to see innocent citizens die. Or maybe they just wanted to kill everyone and couldn’t stand that a giant golem shooting lasers at random places was taking all their murdering.
