Needs more giant hammers.

Impressions:

Come on, Yase. We’re good for family angst. Full up. Overflowing even. We don’t need the tempermental quasi-dragon girl also getting in on the mommy issues, or if you must, then at least keep the ratio of feeling sorry for self to violent tantrums swung heavily in the right direction. I guess it at least had some tiny bit of direction driving it in the form of a lost cup. Not exactly the quest for the Holy Grail, but at least Koto was doing something to some result. For all three or four minutes it focused on that.

Now if we had only spent more time on that and less time in reminiscence. Like maybe how the start and end of the first episode went. Or maybe with more hordes of mafiosos. Or at least give the flashbacks some kind of point. I really don’t feel like I know anything more or should care any more about Yase now than I did before. She misses her moooooommy. All this episode did was take what was already clear and grind it into the audience’s faces for an additional 20 minutes.

Next Episode:

Wheat.
