Sacred Seven #04 — “Reveal Your Secrets to Me”

July 23rd, 2011

I’m starting to wonder if most of the cast is just really really high.

Impressions:

There’s probably at least a 75% chance that I’m still watching this just because seeing Arma hunched over his little scooter with a limo chasing him makes me laugh every time.

Well, at least they weren’t making a giant pizza or chasing a cat that stole a terrorist leader’s helmet. That’s all the praise I’m willing to give this episode. It’s not like there’s anything else to talk about this week. School festival, exceedingly minor rockapede running around while ‘cosplaying’ Arma and Kagami tool around the school until the chaos results in the 400 foot tall stage that the students were apparently left alone to construct collapsing and everybody does a 180 on Arma and learns that he is a true hero after all. Then the rockapede exploded into fireworks and everybody applauded the show for being just so very very darn special.

Preview:

Obligatory beach episode.

I dunno, that cat was the greatest, most dangerous enemy he ever faced. I think it was the main boss of the series.

    thanks’¡

”at least they weren’t making a giant pizza or chasing a cat that stole a terrorist leader’s helmet”

I didn’t know you managed to watch Code Geass that far.

    • Aroduc says:

Honestly, I’m not sure if I did, but I do osmose information directly from the internet. I know I gave up on it before Mao showed up because I remember hearing about that and slapping my forehead, but that’s about it.

  • Souther says:

The irony is that both of those episodes of Code Geass at least had more interesting developments going on at the same time, regardless of whatever crazy school stunt was involved.

This episode of Sacred Seven doesn’t even have that much, so I believe your comparison backfires and falls flat on that level.

It’s far more boring and generic than either of those situations. I wouldn’t mind chasing around a stupid cat if there was something else to compensate for it, but there is nothing like that here.

  • Yue says:

I’d erase this episode from memory. BURNS!!
