Oddly enough, I expect to title a Starry Sky post this at some point too.

Impressions:

The bonus episode was divided up into three disparate segments, the first was sort of a half-assed festival competition, the second Sera’s cooking and ninja scrolls containing the secrets thereof, and the third was about that wacky quiz/card slapping game whose name slips my mind. It was okay I guess, but most of them were just excuses to zoom in on people’s various sexual organs though. Repeatedly. Most of which were flailing around like yoyos tied to a paint mixer. Even Ayumu’s giant jiggling ass. It was intentionally stupid at any rate, which is a far cry better than say… the entire second half of the series.

Still, it felt like they didn’t quite commit all the way. Probably because the second two segment tried to add heart touching stingers out of nowhere at the end and they didn’t really overplay the parodies enough. You have Eu in a spy suit and Ayumu is getting stabbed in the ass. This is followed by a touching talk about how Sera’s cooking still sucks, but because she made it, they’ll all keep eating it. Uh, okay. At least the haphazard writing was consistent. Speaking of that, Ayumu was acting out of character for the entire thing, but just him really, and not enough to make it feel like they were trying exaggerate him for parody purposes. It felt like they were almost going in that direction in the first segment with his "I must protect Eu" ramblings, but that never actually went anywhere and suddenly disappeared when Ayumu had a chance to hump a giant phallic idol with the annoying friend. It felt more like the writers had simply forgotten what his personality was. I wonder if they’ll have forgotten it completely by the time the next season rolls around. I’d be more critical of that, but it’d probably be an improvement.
