Impressions:

A decent if a little bit heavy handed episode. It was simply weird to have one of Tomoki’s delusions/parodies of a guy going out to sea suddenly turn into the plot point for the second half of the episode. I’m not sure that I buy Sohara as being ‘bouncier’ than Astraea though. Most of that segment felt a bit phoned in all around. Make a joke about bribing/luring Astraea with food. Make a joke about Nymph having no breasts. Have Sohara be the last boss. Bang. Another 10 minutes knocked out with nary a creative thought in sight. Couldn’t they at least have had Tomok(i/o) catch (or try to) Mikako? Spice it up somehow. Please.

And the second part… yeah, a bit heavy handed. It was a bit odd for Chaos’ last hurrah to be placed here unless they’re planning on bringing her back for the finale. I’d be fine with that, but I don’t think the possibility is high. I’d rather have watched the results of Nymph and Ikaros learning what love is from Tomoki’s porn than her trying to think of what to buy for him with the obvious outcome. Can you imagine how different this show could be if instead of "love is pain," the repeated message was "love is the wheelbarrow position?" Actually, I’m not sure it would be much different, but I bet the Chaos parts would be even freakier.
