The Evilest Queen #01 — Stale Pride

That's not a pun. Those are character names.
Impressions:
Yet another one of these goddamned things. Of the weepy melodramatic flavor rather than romance or 'parody', to use that term loosely, because the entire supposed cliche of a rival character in a girl game that gets killed is something that flat out doesn't exist. They have their hands full enough with the boy harem given how popular the obsessive, possessive bad boy archetypes are. And who would want a mean girl bullying them when this is supposed to be escapism from it anyway? Even on top of that, the entire premise remains idiotic. "What if you were Hitler, but before any of the bad stuff, never did any of the bad stuff, and had completely different opinions about race and religion?" Well then, you're just some random penniless artist who probably gets teased for looking like Charlie Chaplin.
But all the above is just a generic critique of the premise, and not this show in particular. Except that it also is a critique of this show, because my god, it does not have a single creative bone in its body, and it takes a mind numbing exhaustive amount of time and internal narration to explain all of its premise. Five goddamned minutes just to get through the explanation of the title. Another five for how she's doomed. The most creative thing is that they picked a bunch of completely random nouns for character names, resulting in people named things like Stale or Pride. But saw at those violins, background music. Something's gotta spice up the nonstop recitation of the exact same premise that about fourteen different anime have had in the last year for anybody who's missed out and wants to watch something completely void of any original thought.
Next Episode:
I don't care.

I prefer this over that other when where 2 people from modern world where commentating the whole thing but yes its very derivative.
Most tiresome bit is how she had doubts about if the world can be changed after she already saved her father who was meant to be dead in game or how anxiety she gets over “crimes” this video game character did in a timeline that does not exist, I get that she is tormented by dreams of the events but she acts like she is culpable
