Where did an orphan get tasteless fast acting non deadly poison exactly?

Impressions:

You'd think just ripping off Oliver Twist's whole orphanage/child thief ring schtick wouldn't turn out so poorly, but that entire arc runs its course from start to finish in less than five minutes. Seriously. The kid doesn't show up until eight minutes into the episode, and by thirteen, they're already doing the speech confronting the dude. The next five minutes is spent on another barely animated fight that they clearly do not have the budget for and explaining how they were actually super clever and this was actually a super secret spy they were secretly investigating who just happens to also be a Dickens ripoff.

The thought of "an episode focused on one of them to develop them" was probably a good one, but my god, we're six episodes in, there's no story to speak of, and I can't say that this did anything for that character at all. It just spat out that she too, was abused as a child and made to perform crimes, which is apparently totally different from being a child soldier made by the government to go to war. Somehow.
