Impressions:

There's some real mixed messages in this episode. They're trying to come up with their own signature style or image or whatever, so it's time to go out on the town and be as absolutely generic as possible. Which is itself, as everything is, so much pressure that it sends Pink into conniptions. And then there's the meta level, where going out was clearly an excuse to sketch a bunch of photos for backgrounds, while also going way over the top as far as the artistic expression of the conniptions go, which were probably the high point of the episode.

But are we trying to forge our own identities or copy everybody else out of peer pressure? Believe in yourself and have the confidence to aspire to fit in. We need to be ourselves, by being just like every other band. It's a bit of a weird message to not be treating as a parody, joke, or have the revelation at the end that they could/should be doing their own thing. But instead, it falls back to the usual do your best believe in yourself and ooh, this absolutely generic and indistinctive thing is good, somehow, so it all worked out… apparently.
