Impressions:

The pre-op sequence gave me hope. People enjoying themselves fighting giant bosses and/or hordes of monsters… and actually animated this time instead of just browsing through menus? Was there going to be something actually fun in this second season? Then the OP played, they had some dumb festival, and the lie crumbed away to about 18 straight minutes of talking heads droning on and on and on and on and on. And then on and on some more. You could make a passable drinking game out of just them adjusting their glasses.

Suffice it to say, it did not change my previous opinion of the series. Let’s see if UBW’s bloody one hour adaptation of the game’s prologue can out-drone it!
