Yet The World is Still Beautiful #02 — Rain Does Not Work That Way

At least they stopped talking about food eventually.
Impressions:
If everything else today hadn’t been so dismal, I probably would have been content to just move on, especially since this airs so late anyway even not counting the delayed broadcasts pushing it back further. Captain Earth (OP) managed to be about three minutes more exciting than its first episode, but then got real dull again real fast. Even the shows that made me giggle for being ridiculous weren’t worth a second titter.
Buuut this one’s not going to make the cut either. It remains hopelessly sappy, exceedingly slow, and still oblivious to how self-centered they’re making the moonchild protagonist. And that’s when it’s not just whinging on about the tragic unchildlike sadness in the boy-king’s eyes and/or show the same flashback of him and mommy. How dare he do anything in reaction to an assassination attempt, and against people who were already plotting to kill him? His heart is truly black and in need of healing! Although perhaps what was the silliest part of the episode was the rain. A twenty second shower, to ’emotional’ song no less, which put out a fire. Indoors.
Next Episode:
If you’re reading this, then I’ve forgotten to change the template.

Yeah, the Animators forgotten, that the Fire was under a Roof. So the Rain outside, could only do nothing, until the Roof got destroyed and it rain in the Building…
and this Story… remembers me a little bit of “Anna and the King of Siam”
