The Saint is a Saint #01 — Bird Identification
October 3rd, 2026
For that being the one joke of the episode, they sure… told it three times.
There's a lot of shows today, so I'm going to take frequent breaks, and cover them in the order that maintains the most sanity. Which probably means starting from the lowest expectations with occasional dips into… well, things with animation. Let's go.
Impressions:
Starting off this very long day, which already has at least one show with an unexpected (to me) premiere, ballooning the number to eight, with a double billing of a show about being kicked from the party, threatened with being raped by monsters while the heroes laugh about it, into abject utter stupidity. Wait a minute. I forgot that giant birds don't exist. That means… this must be a dragon! Really. That's what we're going with here. We're seguing from one of those two things to the other? And after a whole scene of her entire body being covered in magical… uh… blackness, including special closeups on her inner thighs and her whimpering and squirming, it's right back to "tee hee, look at my silly OP pet. Let's learn about the grading system of monsters and their loot drops."
I don't have it in me to even glance at the second episode. I think I got the entire picture. That whole bird joke is also something they thought was hilarious, so they'll be returning to it as an excuse for why she can keep her pet. Hey, isn't that a dragon? No way, it couldn't just be a pet dragon. It must be a giant heretofore never before seen bird! Yes, surely it's a bird. That is the only thing that makes sense. By the way, have we discussed today how we hate saints and want to sexually assault and torture them? No, I was just reviewing how we drink healing potions nonstop which is why we enslave/hate saints, and also the categorization system of magical rocks their rarities and varities according to our sliding scale which goes from H to SS, which is different from the loot classification tha–zzzzzz….
