Super Choujou #01 — Balls in Your Dojo

I have some notes on your theories about the zaniness giving police unchecked unlimited power.
Impressions:
Ah, different cultures. Isn't it nice to imagine a world where you'd give cops total surveillance and omnipotence and they'd only use to… minorly harass teenagers, children, the populace, and cause massive property damage? I mean, they didn't even murder or rape anybody. And they arrested like five guys in the process. But he's good natured at heart, so it's all just silly fun and games. What a zany world that would be.
Leaving all that aside, at best, it's a Jump comedy, which means the usual characters overreacting. "HIS PASSWORD WAS EASY TO GUESS, BUT HE FORGOT IT!?" or "THEY ARE CHILDREN BUT YOU ARE USING PSYCHIC POWERS!?" So again, I have to repeat myself and say "if louder is funnier to you, go nuts." There isn't a strong absurdist bend like that deer show, nor strong visual slapstick elements like Milky Holmes or Pani Poni, or character chemistry like Yamada's schtick or SeiZon. …I'm just listing comedies to remind myself what they are and what actual jokes are, aren't I? I should go rewatch some of those instead.
