Salty Satou #01 — Close Ups of Chests

October 6th, 2026

We sure like zooming in on a certain area, don't we?

You know what, no. Let's literally (partially) translate the title after all. See you in an hour or two after walking the dogs for the other two super power yelly shows of the day.

Impressions:

Lest we think that today is all shows about being a net celebrity, the other two shows are back to cheat powers, though only one is a reincarnie. She wants to be an Instagrammer. Oh wait, a Minstagrammer. Legally distinct. But we can't just say she's bad at it, she has to be so catastrophically bad at pressing a button that… actually, I'm not sure how else to overstate this, since it's just pressing a button. Sure, there's stuff like composition and lighting that separate great photos from amateur, but they have to go out of their way to explain that she is so bad at it that she can't even take a basic selfie right. Which is why his ability to… press a button on a smartphone… is what makes him the most specialest boy in her life to ever exist.

It ain't tickling the same chemistry that strung me along for Pseudo Harem or the Yamada-Wants-To-Get-Laid shows, that's for sure. It's largely inoffensive though, other than its constant closeups of her chest. Not a whole lot of emphasis on comedy either, unless, again, you find it explaining that she's very bad at taking pictures to be hilarious. And I can't underemphasize how much it harps on about how bad she is at it even though smartphones have things to fix those issues. She just has the aura that turns them all off and makes them blurry, which is also the only way that her pictures are bad, so it's not even creative about that. She overreacts to everything. He's a dull idiot who saved her from the bizarre roaming band of pick up artists right after explaining that it was a secret girly cafe hidden away that only women and couples know about or go to. But also groups of dudes. So he can save hapless instagram wannabes from them. …Exciting stuff.
