Nia Liston #02 — Montages

October 13th, 2026

It's the second episode. Please stop montaging.

Impressions:

The Tuesday culling begins. The salty girl show barely needed a glance to see it wasn't improving, and this only needed slightly more than that. She's gonna be an actress, which means meetings, montages, meetings, montages, montages, and montages. Don't let that one scene with the maid fool you. They say right away it's a prop knife and it's just her ranting for 'humor' that someone else is daring to be the star instead of The Main Character before falling on her face. It's the closest thing to a joke in the episode.

And, fifteen minutes into the episode, approximately forty five seconds of engaging with its premise and overly long title, just to make sure you haven't forgotten them. A couple random thugs out of literally nowhere to beat up so they can exclaim the title with incredulity. Featuring punches and kicks that conveniently happen exclusively just off-screen, because that's way harder than animating dudes running up or characters spinning in space. After that? A montage! But not the play itself. Or magic broadcast miniseries. Or whatever we're calling it. That's probably for next week. Or who knows, maybe another montage instead.

In short, boring as hell episode. Welp, up to Suikoden, Rayearth, or that… ugh… Overwatch-CGI-Mecha original show to salvage the day, if they even can. If they even are Tuesday shows, since last week was a random Chinese Rayearth webcast, and the mecha thing appears MIA.
