Sure is convenient this dude is always around.

Impressions:

The structure here appears to be:
"Have you heard about the ghost that kills you when you do X?"
"No. I don't believe in ghosts. I'm going to do X."
"Oh no. A ghost appeared that wants to kill me."
"Nuh uh. I'll magic CGI blast it away."

Neither segment was… uh… compelling. Or exciting. And since the supposed main character has all of three minutes of screen time, most of which was spent playing second fiddle to the screen being absolutely blasted by CGI bubbles… stock footage already within a single episode… I can't say that the characters are selling it either. Plus, this first idiot girl is downright suicidal. Why are you climbing to the roof and over the fence? Even as far as dumb things slasher characters do, this one is pretty far up there for bringing it on herself. Plus, plus, usually these things are a nice fun way to learn about some random piece of supernatural lore of the past. For example, what a babadook is, or how to slay an onryo. Useful things for modern life. This is just… ghost that wants to kill you. And other ghost that wants to kill you.
