My left leg for some decent pacing this season.

Impressions:

It's not even like the first half of the episode was all that great a fight. It was… okayish, considering each attacked I think three times, with shouted announcement of what they were doing, and of course, whoever attacked first lost the round. And this was after an obligatory couple minutes of listening to the stupid voodoo dolls do their nasally manzai routine, which also hasn't changed in the last month of this crap. All the while, the stupid points rock is just sitting in the back, waiting for someone else… or either of them… to just abscond with it. Which would be the usual way these things go. This pissing match is stupid. What matters is who has the rock when the timer is up. I'd rather see cleverness around that, not who has the biggest magical dick wand.

But then the second half hit, and the entire rest of the episode was spent in a flashback. A flashback just re-re-re-RE-reviewing the same Spica and Aria deal without anything new at all. How many different flashbacks are we going to see about the same thing? At least one more, apparently. So much for getting back to the actual story before this ends.
