Electricity Catalog #03 — Stupid People Being Amazed

July 19th, 2026

Maybe stop yelling and spend a single nanosecond having a cogent thought.

Impressions:

I'm pretty close to calling it quits on this on too, as amusing as the entire ending sequence was. Every dude in this show is so unbelievably obnoxious, and everyone and everything it does that it tries to show how clever it is fails so spectacularly when you apply the tiniest shred of logic to it. The secret thing in the catalog? It had hidden pages within pages that contained an entire letter to the dude written in invisible ink. Yes, there were random pages that were three times as thick, folded out, and blank, and nobody noticed until… someone thought it smelled vaguely of alcohol. This is the big secret reveal.

But wait, we have the ending still. They go off and montage their way through the secret thingies written within, invent a lightbulb, and the first thing they do is call the evil dude over to get his approval. Why are we doing this exactly? To prove him wrong? The powerful, influential lunatic? Who starts clawing at his face in rage over a single lightbulb. But that doesn't count! It's not true light! But wait, what if I had… TWENTY? WHAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHH!? THIS CANNOT BEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! HOOOOOWWWWW CCCCCOOOOOUUUULLLLDDDDD THHHHIIIIISSSSS HAAAAPPPPPEEEEENNNNN!? Meanwhile, the protagonist dude is lost in a fantasy about playing an FPS and shooting monsters with light balls. I'm not exaggerating. It's almost literally a House of the Dead rail shooter sequence. Because he's never seen the thing that he helped set up before. This theatrical dick swinging that he set up and sent out invitations for is a complete shock to him and blows his own tiny mind.
