And thus it ends, just as it began. Both the show and this overly long arc respectively. One with the same scene, the other with a beach episode where all it did was rehash each characters' jokes, but now in bikinis. Sadly, the humor from the first episode of Kyougi being deadpan ride or die, and up for literally anything has long since fallen to the wayside and there continues to be only yelling and overreactions remaining, without even new ones or new gimmicks.

Same with any of the even slightly quieter moments. It tried, I suppose, but only after passing up the easiest layup in the world with rejecting his family's approval for only what she wants, or putting them in their place for being possessive and controlling over her. Literally all of them. Over the entire last month of the show. Hell, it even seemed like for a moment that there might be a tiny bit of drama when Kyougi realizes she's never actually said "I love you," but that gets passed over and forgotten immediately. It could've bare minimum been some kind of last second bone thrown to pretend like there's been any kind of progress since the stupid thing is ending anyway, but nope. Not even that.
