Nobody likes zoners.

Impressions:

I can't say I'm a fan of how things went, both in presentation and resolution. They're out here springing off desks weightlessly and doing martial arts, but it's meant to be an emotional, raw, brutal scene. It's choreographed and fake, too over the top and corny when it should be ugly and desperate. Even when she throws up, she looks up with a completely clean, flawless face. Isn't this supposed to be her entire facade cracking? It's not. It's still the same fakeness. The same with when the other two show up to silly music, dramatic posing, and speeches about the power of friendship. It doesn't match at all with the far darker and more real drug abuse, suicidal impulses, and self-destructive nihility.

It also undermines and takes away from Kache and her own place in the group as the 'normie.' She absolutely has a point that Michica doesn't care about or even try to understand others or their lives, but she gets entirely sidelined for the very prosaic and superficial "friendship, yay." Nor does it really seem like it resolves anything, especially when it comes to the drug abuse and self-harm. They just set it aside and declare that the final battle is coming, whatever the hell that even means for streaming, before playing the ED early so they can re-friendship for another five minutes after it.
