Impressions:

The terrible writing of episode two continues, with even less punching, and my hopes for this show continue to crumble. She's under cover, as herself, the infamous person who just busted up an entire slaver ring, out to now buy a slave. Nobody got the memo, I guess, and there's only one kind of evil afoot in this kingdom. But don't worry, half the episode is spent on her going on a date instead with one of The Good Ones. They're royals. There are no good ones. Punch them all. Once the date ends, it's right back to the exact same office meeting that we started with, but a random thug shows up and immediately declares how cruel and evil he is so she can immediately punch him before returning to tea time with her boyfriends.

The only salvagable part of the entire episode, perhaps the only part of the entire episode that actually needed to exist at all as I doubt anybody would have questioned it if they had just shown up at a slave auction, was the last minute or so where the girl from the first episode and the OP/ED cosplay-a-thon shows up with a gun and evil designs that aren't just more slaving. Of some other people. Off screen. No, you can't see them. The salvagable part being the evil designs. Not the gun itself. That's as badly written as everything else. It's an ornately designed pistol at that considering that the guy is all "what is this completely foreign and unusual object that I have no idea what it is or how it works." Your level of technology is clearly way past gunpowder and cannons, not to mention literal magic exists. How on earth are pistols a completely foreign mystical invention and we skipped at least 8 design iterations to reach a 17th century flintlock?
