I don't think cultural differences covers it.

Impressions:

This impressed me by being even more abhorrent than I expected. They truly did capture the awfulness of the predatory male versions of the same show. The 'meet-cute' had one going "Oh yeah, what're you going to do about it?" So the other grabbed her in the middle of a crowd, shoved her hand up her ass and down her skirt, causing her to collapse in orgasmic bliss with an instant crush. I'm not exaggerating. The very next scene is her in the bathroom fantasizing about it. It almost competes with all the CGI people constantly wandering around in pure creepiness. Part of the premise is also that these two somehow never met each other despite their parents being married. Not just that, but she didn't even know she was going to have a stepsister at all. Also, people are capable of hearing gasps from 20 feet away, but not yells. 

The takeaway is that the writing and directing are both awful. They seem to at least be using the money saved via all the CGI mannequins wandering around on the regular animation. The downside being that it's almost entirely being used to fetishize the not-twink. What little's not is used to fetishize the top when she's playing the twink to the token penis-haver, whose sole defining characteristic is that he has a penis. I guess the music is mostly more or less on point though. Good job, BGM guy. I don't know why that stands out in my mind. Probably because I desperately wanted to think about anything else but a show that doesn't pretend to be about familal love or comedy with a wink wink nudge nudge about how everyone really knows what it's about, but has no content but the glorification of sexual predation. Aspire at least to Bunny Black's low low heights. Please.
