Spy Kids #10 — Whose Episode Is It Anyway?

September 10th, 2017

Speaking of which, I'm not sure Dorothy's spy activities start and end at flashing her cleavage.

Impressions:

Not as godawful as last week, but another kind of mess of an episode since they never really seemed to have a good idea what they were doing with the double agent character it was focused on. First she was an ice queen, basically the same as Ange but with glasses, then she's an insecure emotional wreck, then she's strung out on heroin before we change our minds and decide that it was all about being like Dorothy. Whatever you say, guys. Maybe that was supposed to be a twist? That we were supposed to think that Ange was the one she looked up to? But I'm not sure that even came up as anything more than just a one line aside until just before the one-girl game of Russian Roulette. They spent more time and energy on the idiot crashing a car in a snowbank.

I'm not really hopeful for the cliffhanger about their new mission being to 'kill' the princess leading anywhere either. Too much FRIENDSHIP and sappiness among the protagonists. And that's as much thought as I care to put into it, lest it be revealed five seconds next week to be staged from the start.

kung lao, speedwagon…that’s all I got.

  • Neclord X says:

They are ready to shoot to death an old friend they expended years with.

Now they will rebel against the order to kill someone they expended some days with (even Ange didn’t expend that much time with her when she was a kid). ¬¬

Since Ange is the actual for real princess, I imagine it’ll be something about not being able to kill her since she’s in their crosshairs because of her.

Wish that happened every week tbh

The problem with getting a cliffhanger like that is this show is airring all of it’s episodes out of order. We still haven’t got the conclusion to that cliffhanger where Dorothy’s father was killed, 4 episodes ago?

I fully expect next week’s episode to not at all conclude this one.
