Hundred #11 — Chubbs and Robo Puppy

June 13th, 2016

Why does every side character have a better power than the protagonists?

Impressions:

If you thought you were finished suffering through overlong idol BS after the unanimated sequence at the end of last week, then good news! Because you're not. Because 20% of this episode… nearly five goddamned minutes… is yet more of it. Hell, nearly halfway through the episode and the protagonists are still watching those airheaded ninnies not-prance around because they can't be bothered to animate that. Or animate the 'action' either for that matter. Stills, stills, and stills.

So it wasn't even a relief on the rare occasions when the cameras left the situation room. The protagonists sure didn't though. They had literally zero involvement at all with this episode. We started with Whose-Her-Tits about to attack, and wouldn't you know it, but that's more or less about where we ended it too. A couple stills and small explosions, but next week, the attack will begin… for real. And against the Superdark Trio… yet again. What a thrilling climax to this story. Is this awful season over yet?

Next Episode:

Oh no. A thing might happen.

2 Shouts From the Peanut Gallery

  • The Phantom says:

The song was godawful and they again did not even bother to animate her mouth, it was always full open, seems like they are completely out of budget, I guess final episode will be a battle of still images and speedlines.

  • Opulent Rag says:

I think “tit-fucks her tie” woman is the only reason why I bother with this garbage. Say what you want about the anime’s budget, visuals, and characters (or lack there of) but when you see all the female character’s design you KNOW where their priorities were.
