K – Return of Technicolor Haze #12 — Friendship Power!

December 18th, 2015

Because we have depths yet to plumb, apparently.

Semi-Impressions:

Even above and beyond the vague attention I've been paying to the 'plot' here, I cannot fathom what's supposed to be the weight or the stakes of the fights here because every single thing has been delivered in dry monologues and the antagonists and protagonists are so completely identical in every way that you could stick them in a lineup and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to separate the good guys from the bad. There's nothing left here but the occasional pretty animation to look at and globular tits to gawk at. And we're not even getting that anymore. The first fight was that imbecilic fog again, the middle 'fights' were all against grunts and where most of the budget went, the last fight was about 95% lipservice about that 'traitor' guy who has done jack squat one way or the other, and both the first and last, the ones involving all parties involved being named characters, all went down to the tune of friendship power! Japan, get the goddamned hell over friendship power and believing in yourselves. It physically pains me.

But at least I have something to roll my eyes at each week while eating my sandwich.

Next Episode:

And now for the real fight.
