Show By Rock #08 — Friendship Power

Great.

Impressions:

Another episode where I have no idea why the protagonists even bothered to show up. It’s not like this is an ensemble show. There’s no illusions about anybody else mattering, and yet here we are, with another episode spent on the guys. Admittedly, they’re usually a little more amusing than the girls, but not so this week. The only jokes were why he was struggling with the darkness in his heart, and at the very end. Oh, and a stretch limo is really long. Hi-larious!

Anyway, after some nonsense about the darkness in people’s hearts, the infected one throws a hissy fit over a bad hair day, they embark on a montage to find him when he wanders off, and the day is saved from… nothing… by the power of friendship. Couldn’t even muster up any kind of threat. Not even a slightly giant monster. Nothing at all. He just glowers on a rooftop for a little bit before his heart is purified or whatever and the status quo is even more restored than usual.

At least Aroduc writes short and succint points in his reviews. Unlike ann femnazis.
