|Duo| #05 — Water Physics

February 1st, 2015

Someone needs to explain to them how dive splashes work.

Not slow for any reason this morning, just slept in. I did forget about PreCure last night, which I did mean to make some snarky remarks about, but come on. There’s no chance of me picking that up. I just wanted to make some snarky remarks and make fun of the obligatory CGI dancing ED.

Impressions:

You’d think they’d be wanting to avoid water if they have no idea how it functions. “Just draw a droplet on her hair. That’ll be enough to show that it’s wet.” “Water splashes when you jump in, right?” “Yeah, I jumped into the bath once and it splashed.” “Okay, so when they dive, make the water explode to show the grace of their form.” Oh, and they’re all roided up now too.

That eight minutes of blatant filler aside, we then moved on to… another goddamned date montage, and Lily making the same offer as last week, but this time, the sad violins were playing and there was a flashback. So really, it was the exact same bloody episode as last week except that this time at the end, she shot up a bunch of other students (offscreen) instead of random kids at a mall. Maybe next week, we can bring this abysmal arc to its godawful end and move on. …It’s fun to play pretend.

3 Shouts From the Peanut Gallery

  • The Phantom says:

I prefer world break over this, not that it is much better but at least keeps trying with better fights and a better male lead. Only thing I hate about that show is the insufferable pink haired girl which I hate with passion.

  • This series took a major step down in quality and story telling when it introduced the Lilith character.
