…Why did it grow legs?
Impressions:
Good god. Did we really spend the entire first half of the episode sitting around a table, chatting? Oh wait, then they excused themselves to make a phone call. Eventful affairs. Show’s moving a mile a minute. And then they go out to hunt for the most dangerous game, roombas. Exactly how many roombas are out there? And you know, there were still people just hanging around, waving glowsticks at people waiting in lines to go to the movies, so sure, it was tense, but not so much that we can’t have people cutting in line tense.
Which results in another episode where all the main characters did was listen to people jabber at them and then root around in the dirt. Despite the existence of a roomba army, Blondie’s call home about making friends was probably the most eye-roll inducing moment of the episode. God help her if someone ever gives her a friendship bracelet made in arts and crafts over summer camp. That’d probably end in a restraining order.

I enjoyed the first couple episodes, but god, this was shithouse.
And after that one girl makes such a big fuss about her fucking stone, even melodramatically crying about it, she just fucking gives it away to the sixth person who was sort of nice to her.
Milky Holmes 4th episode was… weird? Like some part of me hoped the episode would have just ended with them leaving Marine with that woman, while they lave and celebrate their new lives as One-Hit Wonders, but of course Marine had to use the power of being an Idol to break free?
Also, while I approve of The Feathers being so inconsequential that they do literally one thing, and dip out for the rest of the episode, but they really forced them in this one. I get that they’re this staff’s OCs and they refuse to let them die, even though no one likes them, but yesh.
