Yes. That is an interesting direction for an interesting episode to take.

Impressions:

Now that they’ve jettisoned the two characters who were doing all the interesting things in the first two episodes, what are they going to replace that with? Not a lot, apparently. They travel to a Comiket themed area, which you’d think would be a fertile ground for… well, something, but about all they seemed to be able to muster were “the head is like security,” and “everyone cosplays.” Even that’s completely toothless, particularly in anime where the norm is everyone looking like they were attacked by a roaving band of post apocalyptic fashion designers.

I think they’re afraid of accidentally somehow offending their audience, so they just skipped making jokes at all, and without the action this week either, this made for an extremely dull twenty minutes. The protagonists still have yet to really do much of anything, let alone differentiate themselves from each other or justify the need to have four of them. They can’t even involve just one of them enough in an episode to have any kind of ripple, let alone goddamned four, and it certainly doesn’t help that they’re just getting shepherded around to be lectured at either. Goddamned do something, you lazy bastards.
