Impressions:

I think all of them really did just completely forget about Saki. Sort of. They reminded us of a mysterious prisoner early on but wouldn’t show them, yet none of the characters seemed to know or care that she was gone, to the point of being shocked to see her in enemy hands. Didn’t they have to cart her mech around? Is it just sitting back there in enemy hands? And why was Haruto so upset to see her stabbed? Did he forget that they were immortal? Hell, they had a special televised memorial for Whose-Her-Face who I wasn’t even certain whether she was dead or just vegetablized, but the former TV/ad starlet that was supposedly the super popular girl just disappears and nobody even seems to notice until she’s ‘executed’ on live TV.

And now that the world knows the horror of the immortal children, I guess everything’s supposed to change or something? I mean, it’s not like we just went on a little trip and discovered an academy of child assassins, military equipment being powered by the brains of orphans, a government superhuman experimentation program creating feral rapist immortal vampires, and that the government is being ruled by psychic parasite wizards or anything, right? Oh yeah. And they’re space nazis devoting all their time and energy to blowing up a high school. I think. It’s been a while since we visited that side of the plot. And they just gorily stabbed someone on live TV. 

But they said the kiddos aren’t humans, but monsters! Cliffhanger!

    I don’t even understand what’s going on when reading VVV reviews aside that nothing seems to make sense anymore.

    If he WASN’T a total douche, he would have won, eventually. But now, not only does he have L11 on his ass, but the one immortal who can, and will fuck his plans up. WHY? What was the point of him being a dick? He gains NOTHING, and just gives resolve to his enemy. People are most dangerous when they are fighting for someone else, Cain should know this by now.

    Yeah….. I know how you feel. The way so many anime treat immortality is just so friggen stupid.
