Really? Whales?

Impressions:

I think that I have to draw the line here. Or maybe this is the point where it went from sort of average to laughably horrible. This episode was just so incredibly stupid without a single trace of awareness about it. And when it wasn’t stupid, for about the 10 minutes in the middle, it was just boring as sin. Let’s just review then, shall we? Neglected Friend’s stable of dolls were all sports themed for a start, followed by her ‘defeating’ them by throwing a bunch of candy on the ground, which they all then started eating and finally, shoving one straight down Neglected Friend’s throat, which tasted so good that it snapped her back to her senses and everybody was buddies again, the whole thing having been resolved by some chocolates within five minutes. Under three if you remove the recap and OP.

And then we have the other master at the end, who was clearly evil because he’s older and has a penis. One of his doll’s weapons was an orca. Which they punched in the face. And then started directly bombing, but apparently whales save at +10 vs puffball explosives and face punching so they needed to dress one up as a fish to counter it. Not that she then did anything but chase it around for three seconds. Finally, he brought out the big guns, an electrical spirit bomb, which was then countered by hitting him in the face with a card. Not using a magic card, mind you, just throwing crap at him. Oh, and he’s also a thief who hugs his stolen goods while quivering and saying the name of… let’s call it his little sister, but that’s just a guess, while his dolls do the three wise monkeys thing. Again, we were apparently supposed to take this seriously.
