Devils and Realist #02 — Shiny Happy People

Enough with the bishie sparklies.

Impressions:

The action was about the only thing that interested me in the first episode and even then it wasn’t particularly impressive. While the Second Episode Blues didn’t hit this show as badly as most, the fight went from average to poor. I still don’t really like any of the characters though, nor is it hammy enough to be any fun to writer about either. Its biggest sin is mostly that if they’re not trying to kill each other, they’re all just pissing about doing absolutely nothing but waste time. If they excised all the faffing, this could be at least a passable action show. Hell, if they just moved things along faster and got to something besides a lot of men glacially fawning over each other, we could talk, but the plot’s practically nonexistent too. I have no interest in Willy’s boring daily life and unlike, say, Blood-C, the action’s nowhere near good enough or comedic enough for the boredom to be worth it.

Next Episode:

Bad touching.

You dropped Free but you keep going with this equally gay thing yet doomed to run out of budget halfway?

I believe he just said he was probably dropping this as well…
