No. That is not a creative title.
Impressions:
Feh. Another one of those cheap and fairly understated (relatively speaking) episodes like I thought we had gotten out of our system. The direction was a little unusual though, besides being cheap. There were a number of very Shaft-esque shots. Over the shoulder headtilt, shots of powerlines for no reason, etc. I don’t pay attention to episode-to-episode directors though. Maybe they just finished watching Maria Holic and thought "Boy, we could use some of that." Anywho, Otohime hasn’t really gotten any funnier since her last appearance, and she ate up most of the episode, so… Yeah. I’m in this for physical violence against sea creatures, including mermaids. Muromi, the primary inflictor and recipient of such, not to mention titular character, barely even bothered to show up, leaving Taku and Otohime to carry everything, and they’re about as far from an effective comedy duo as Charles Manson and Voldemort.
Next Episode:
Terrible things to do with breasts.

Maybe it was supposed to be an homage to the early works of Oshii Mamoru…
Oh well, at least next week we ought to see the return of prehensile boobs…
