Have these people not heard of umbrellas?
Impressions:
I know how much of a broken record I probably sound, but come on, Japan. Structure is not something to be this afraid of. I have absolutely no idea what Azusa’s parts were doing in the episode. They were just sort of there. Like… two minutes of blatant fanservice and then they all climbed into bed together to have a dramatic friendship speech of friendship. Not for any reason mind you. Just because. I guess from the next episode preview, maybe it will have an actual point next week, but I’m pretty sure that they found themselves short by about four minutes of content this week and were afraid that their audience might forget who Azusa was if she didn’t appear for a week.
Otherwise, not a particularly notable episode. It started raining, but nobody was moping yet, so instead of being a signal for melodrama, it was instead of a wafer thin excuse to have moron spend the night with the Tsu*s. People walking in on each other naked. Sleep talking. Etc. Assuming this isn’t your first hour watching anime, it’s nothing you haven’t seen before. Just a rather bland and by the numbers episode.
