Railgun #26 — Back to the Grind
April 19th, 2013
Yep. That confirms that.
Impressions:
That’s more like it. A fully ironic statement after an episode that was practically a shot for shot remake of a previous one, I’m aware. Bookend the episode by pretending something’s going on with minimal effort put into the animation (this one would be my favorite given how absolutely nothing is happening there), fill the rest of the time with a fat lot of absolutely nothing, pretend like something’s going to happen next week. Oh? Is Saten being ‘cute’? Kuroko has a ‘voice collection?’ Well let me just piss myself and throw money in your direction. They couldn’t even get the new character’s intro done right without tossing in some bad visual humor while the gamelan was blasting away at full tilt. Nor did I ever feel particularly awed by her power of diarrhea of the mouth and the ability to operate a light switch.
And then Aroduc felt perfectly fine about Samurai Girls for Fridays again. The end.
Next Episode:
More of the exact same.

It’s okay, Kuroko still loves you.
Well, probably not.
