Muromi #04 — Circle of Life

I don’t know if I buy mermaid > yeti.
Impressions:
They had the pieces for some good jokes here. Small defenseless harpy thing trying to eat Muromi with the attention span of your average Japanese anime fan requiring things to be repeated every 3 seconds or they’re forgotten, but things just kind of stop there. Those weren’t the vehicles for the jokes, those were the punchlines. "She has a brain like a bird… See?" *ba-dum tss* The yeti’s barely even worth mentioning and like the dolphins from last week, I can’t shake the feeling that it would have been a lot funnier if Muromi had instead dressed up a rock in a fleece coat or kidnapped a braindead sheep and called that a yeti. That’d at least be sticking with the manic side of things that this show functions best at.
