Impressions:

Another budgetless episode of talking heads explaining exactly how evil the things were that they had either done offscreen or were planning to do. Exciting. And of course, this is so moving or whatever that it triggers Sasami’s own speech about how she’s changed and whatnot. Season with a whole lot of generic Shinbo directing and that’s the first 16 minutes down. Total accomplished by either side: Zero.

And then Tama showed up to throw a temper tantrum and effortlessly eat Mom while Mom ranted about being chewed on. Luckily three times as much time was spent on her explaining to everyone around her what was going on while having holes put in her than actually having holes put in her. Yawn. Budget.
