For the record, both this and Total Eclipse’s broadcasts were delayed an hour today due to election coverage. I’m not slow, Japan is. That’s also what the teleops across most of this episode are.

Impressions:

Well, I guess it was better than most. Probably because they realized there was a break coming up soon for the holidays and decided to quickly run through what would probably normally be one episode’s worth of content so they could use what would normally be a commercial break as a cliffhanger. The first two thirds was Mary and Dark-Haired-Masochist getting captured by each of their respective enemies where they flirted and/or did their schticks until both were unceremoniously released.

At which point they then invaded the tower with a bunch of traps. Let me spoil the joke for you. They all go "It’s a trap," and then it is a harmless trap. And then No-Balls uses his new magic sword to obliterate Kon and the princess. And apparently this is something that is going to consume most of next episode too if the preview’s any indication. Because melodramatic cliffhangers are always the perfect thing to follow up cream pies to the face. Oh well, it’s not like I expect anything from this show anymore. Just a couple more short weeks until the new season.
