Armored Angels #11 — Drunk Electronics

I’m not sure I want to know how that works.

Impressions:

I’m also not entirely sure where all the male voices in the crowd full of females were coming from for that matter. Or why they decided to use Red to job to Also-Strarf. I don’t think she’s even beaten the mice. How does her being curbstomped demonstrate Not-Hina’s dominance? At least use one of the characters that hasn’t been a joke, especially if you’re going to spend a quarter of the episode reminding us of all the one-offs that have existed through the show.

The entire storyline around Hina was also incredibly hackneyed. It could’ve used either a lot more overt maliciousness or not begun with their master grinning madly. About the prospect of having an extra copy of something he already owns apparently. You don’t get to have your cake and eat it too. Either just come right out with the kidnapping or don’t flash it a minute into the episode and then stretch it out for 10 minutes with some kind of terrible amnesia joke of a plot. I don’t even know why they went through all that. Why was it necessary to give her a tour or even tell her anything before tazing her exactly?

Preview:

Off to save Hina.
