What the hell are the writers even doing with this show?

FYI, Horizon’s broadcast is delayed about 90 minutes today. It’ll be rather late.

Impressions:

After ending with what can only be charitably called a cliffhanger last week of Adel going out to really fight, we instead skip ahead to the aftermath of the war for a party, concert, insert song, and montage. Uh… What? Did my brain stroke off and I miss a week somewhere? That was about the first third of the episode before all of it was fairly unceremoniously dumped and forgotten.

The rest of it had Pinky, Yuki, and Clueless run into a rock/puffball that swapped their bodies around. So if it wasn’t bad enough that he was growing into the girly fantasy-bait almost every single episode, now he has breasts and a vagina. Granted, Yuki’s breasts and vagina, but still. He got naked in it and had the others dress him, so we can call that third base. The whole thing was just such generic time wasting though for no point though. Even when shows like He-Man pull this, it’s usually to teach someone a valuable lesson about someone else. Or to make jokes using it. Maybe they should’ve tried that. Either of those. "What if they swap bodies, they’re awkward for a few moments, but get used to it, then switch back?" "Brilliant! Another episode in the books!" Sigh.
