Impressions:

By all rights, this episode should’ve been pretty awful, just given how much of it was blatant padding. Athena pops up to chase off Perseus, Godou immediately heals thanks to spending a night in one of Japan’s miraculous hospitals (and communicating with his inner little girl) and then almost the entire rest of the episode is spent on comedy and parody of all things, not something that this show has exactly shown itself to be particularly competent at. On the other hand, considering how this show normally pads out its time with pointless rambling, I’ll take this over it any day

Karen was the star of the episode then, probably unsurprisingly given how much of it was on the Brain Trust. She works well against Lily and Godou’s utter lack of personality and/or neverending fear of vagina dentata. Lily still rather hackneyed, but she had a few moments, mostly in her fanfiction/daydreams, and after the weeks of focusing on Mariya, anything is eight steps up. Speaking of her, she continued to prove her worthlessness too. Good god, she’s not even good for blatant bondage fanservice like the others are.
