Was that even supposed to be a joke?
Impressions:
As expected, the punchline to the whole thing as stupid. They went off together to check out a game system in development. And apparently these jokes are hilarious because instead of PS3, they call it the HS3. It’s a joke because… why again exactly? You spent the last fifteen minutes of the show trying to pretend like it was serious? A reference is not in itself a joke. Do something with it. The whole thing was like bad exposition from Neptunia about creating a perfect console that nobody would ever need to buy games from again… only, like always, instead of overplaying it as they could’ve/should’ve to turn that into an actual joke, it was just flatly stated and then the logical "no, that won’t work" arguments stated in turn. I take it back. That’s far worse than what I’d expect from Neptunia. Neptunia.
Part B was just literally tacked on because I suspect they ran out of content five minutes from the end of the episode. I guess it’s preferable to stretching out an already poor bit another 5 minutes, but both were still weak as hell. Admittedly, when the CM eyecatch popped up, my first thought was "oh god, has it only been 10 minutes so far?" but thankfully, it was just tossed in 5 minutes from the end of the episode. Japanese broadcasting is silly. Then they all just wandered off to the generic hot spring/beach for not even any particularly interesting swimsuits. At least Hastur wasn’t in a banana hammock, although the surprise banana hammock is generally a good quick way to get a laugh. Nobody ever suspects the hammock.
Preview:
Continuing beach/hot springs nonsense.

And thus our poor Mahiro-kun probed a grey from outer space. Or vice versa.
