Dusk Maiden of Amnesia #02 — Bunny Must Die

April 15th, 2012

Dude, Teiichi, they’re breasts. Chill.

Impressions:

This episode goes backwards to the first meeting and couple adventures between Teiichi and Yuuko, which unfortunately translated to Teiichi screaming and flipping out whenever she teased him. At least the mass recycled footage and directing gimmicks were gone. It still has plenty of that special Silver Link flair that I do like with excellent use of colors and shading, The way they juxtaposed both Teiichi’s and Momoe’s view of what was going on as Yuuko chased them was well done too and how they really should have handled that whole introduction thing last week.

Besides that though, it was pretty much just an unneeded introduction episode to characters we’ve already been introduced to. Still more enjoyable than Saki, but I’m not really sure what more there is to say beyond that. Cranking Teiichi’s volume and excitability up to eleven made me want to throttle him. Yuuko remained more or less the same in past and ‘present’, or whatever we’re calling the previous episode. I guess that means they’re going to ‘introduce’ the other character whose name I’ve already forgotten next week then.

Are you happy that this episode used the silly English title that you prefer to use?
