Impressions:

Yawn. This arc isn’t getting any better, but I suppose that it’s not getting any worse either. That’s an improvement from the last couple. I already went over the issues in presentation of having Shiori be a motor mouth to the audience but then try to sell that she never talks, so let’s just move on to the humor. Oh wait, this arc has almost none of that. The plot then. Keima tries to get a rise out of her. Then The Man says books must die.

And there you have episode 10.

This could have been done in five minutes. Hell, I’m not sure it needed to be done at all. Keima’s toying with her is completely eclipsed by the (assumably) more important thing of her little sanctuary where she turns into a naked fairy being destroyed. I was admittedly bored by their interactions already, but if they’re going to spend 10 bloody minutes on it and how he’s "liberating her heart" then make it meaningful. Don’t just trump it by throwing in some completely unrelated thing about 80 times more important to her out of nowhere. That just reeks of space and time filler which stifles this show enough as it is.

And this arc will probably go on for two more episodes. Ye gods.
