Pull the trigger. Do it!

Impressions:

Same dull episode as always. I feel like I’ve already said everything that there is to say about this show. It certainly seems to have found its tedious comfort zone of Squid misunderstands something, yells about it, end with something ‘ridiculous’ that was predictible from the very introduction. Unfortunately, all the punchlines are the same four or five silly faces. I got more laughs out of Stocking Fighter, starring burly dudes in afros and stockings than I did the entire rest of the episode, and that was just a throwaway background joke.

Squid is forced to make a new friend who is the epitome of boring because she tried the prank of ringing a doorbell and then running away, only got caught and spent the segment assuming everybody was onto her lie. Second part was her discovering makeup. Then wearing makeup. Then looking at other makeup. Then wearing tribal magic marker warpaint because it’s "invader makeup." I think that Takeru putting makeup on was the only actual joke in that segment. The third part threw cohesion to the wind. First it was about the balance of power in the various relationships, then the scientists popped up again with a gun that makes things ‘disappear.’ …Then Chizuru stripped them.

I have another meeting today, so I may not get to Zakuro before I have to go to it and class.
