Samurai Girls #04 — No Man Nipples!

ARMS, what the hell are you censoring?

You know what’s fun? Having every alarm in the building go off for 45 minutes when the power goes out in the evening during pouring rain. You know what’s more fun? Being woken up by every alarm going off again 12 hours later when sweet Mother Electricity finally returns.

Impressions:

A very silly episode, but it was pretty funny for the most part, so I can’t complain too much. Nothing really on the plot front except 20 minutes to confirm that the power is inside Muneakira, not Jubei. There were a curious number of panty shots this week, compared to most, just to give you a guideline as to how deep the episode was all around. Muneakira continues to be traumatized by the female body, which annoys me, but at least Yukimura got nice and blushy and didn’t throw a fit when Jubei told her that they both love him. I’m happy to skip bad drama about Muneakira saving her from a bear or whatever strange thing they’d machinate.

Anyway, most of it was just Yukimura blushing and trying to kiss him while Sen and Hanzou found comical ways to drop things on her. Unlike Jubei though, Yukimura maintains her personality, but can’t control her strength at all. The montage in the middle did stretch a little too long, and while it’s still early and I’m not expecting a deep plot, this episode did feel like it could have easily been cut in half too. Personally, if I were Sen, I’d be more concerned about Yukimura mounting Muneakira in my yard than a little kiss. Imagine what that does to the property value. Now where will you keep your bizarre floating chairs?

Love or hate, I’ve missed you, Kugimiya. Don’t ever change.

  • Dual says:

Yay, now Muneakira has two master samurais under his command.

  • Mesousa says:

They’re censoring parts no one wants to see.

Well, it depends if there are any girls watching this.

That was a great episode, Yukimura is just too fun. I like how she has almost no “tsun” towards Muneakira, or atleast she’s honest about her feelings. It makes her a lot cuter and she works better with Sen’s 90% “tsun”. Her Master Samurai mode was pretty fun too! The fact that’s she’s voiced by Kugimiya Rie is just icing on the cake for me.

If they jettisoned the male lead, this anime might be worth watching. Yet another boring scenario where all the girls fawn over the male lead. Too many anime with this trope. I’ll pass on this garbage.

Fun episode. Interesting that Muneakira doesn’t have the chains when Yukimura turns into a master samurai. Even though Yukimura maintains her personality, it’s funny that she still causes massive destruction like Jubei.
